Product: Fresh Sparkling Water And Soda
This is actually the second Sodastream we have owned. We got one in 2008 when they didn’t have as many options as they do now. We stopped using the first one a little after because at the time the carbonators were harder to get refilled then they are now.
They also have a lot more types of machines now. We were sent the ‘Jet’ to review. The look of it is great, it goes well with most styles and looks nice next to other small appliances. One of my favorite things is it doesn’t take up a lot of space, which is great when you don’t have a lot of counter space . It is tall but will still fit under cabinets with no problem. It requires no electricity or batteries, so it can be moved around wherever I want very easily.
It is so easy to use. Once the carbonator is attached in the back, you fill the bottle the one liter bottle, that comes with it, with water. Push the button on top three times. Then fill with your flavor choice. That’s it!
We love sparkling water so sometimes we just have the water by itself but they have SO MANY great flavors to choose from. Our favorites are the Energy, Cosmopolitan, & the My Water syrups. They have options in both regular and diet. The caps of each flavor bottle have a fill line so you won’t have to guess how much to put it. Each bottle ranges from about $4.99 to $6.99 and one bottle has lasted us about 12 to 14 litters.
I used to go to the store all the time and buy the cans of flavored sparkling water which took up a lot of room and we would go through them so fast. With the SodaStream we don’t hardly have any waste from it and we never run out. We don’t have filtered water at home so I bought a Brita water filter pitcher to fill up the bottles.
You can refill the carbonator on their website by sending it in or at few retail stores which is what I plan on doing once ours is out. The refills at stores cost about $15. We have been using ours multiple times a day for over two weeks now and haven’t run out as of yet.
