Product: Green Tea Powder
Matcha provides 4 to 6 hours of mild steady energy as it acts as both a stimulant and a relaxant. This is ideal for focusing on whatever the day throws your way.
Consuming matcha green tea can increase thermogenesis (the body’s own rate of burning calories) from a normal 8%-10% of daily energy expenditure, to between 35% and 43% of daily energy expediture.
IMPROVED SKIN HEALTH
Scientists have discovered that Matcha Green Tea helps protect the skin from harmful UVrays, while improving blood flow and oxygen levels lifting the overall quality of the skin.
137x THE ANTIOXIDANTS OF BREWED GREEN TEA
Antioxidants are essential as you age to boost your body’s natural defenses against oxidation. Researchers have found that a high level of dietary antioxidants can prevent many age-related diseases.
I am a big coffee drinker but I can’t really drink more then two small cups a day because I start to get jittery. I hate that feeling but I really need the energy boost most days. I was introduced to the green tea lattes at Starbucks about a year ago. I really liked the taste and they gave me the energy boost without the jittery feeling. The only problem was that they are pricey if you are buying them every day or even every few days.
I started looking into making the lattes at home a few months ago. I got a frother from this review and they have been very easy to make. You just mix about 2 tablespoons with the milk of your choice. I use plain soy because I like the taste with these more then milk. Once its been frothed for about 30 seconds you can add sugar but don’t have to. I add a few small drops of vanilla Stevia in mine.
This brand blends great and didn’t taste bitter. I also liked the packaging because it was easy to get the powder out which can be hard because it is so fine so it can be messy.
There are a few other things you can make with the powder.
– You can use it to make facial masks by mixing it with coconut oil which I haven’t tried yet.
– You can use it in baking.
– To make smoothies.
– Of course you can use it to make hot tea.
