In Their Words:
Because MoreFiber contains Stevia which is very sweet, you should reduce the sugar in your recipes. If your recipe calls for 1 cup of sugar and you use 1/2 cup of MoreFiber, you should take 1/2 cup of sugar out of the recipe.
We have been using using Stevia as a family for about a year now. We started using it when I went on the Paleo diet where I could only use Stevia as a sweetener. Before then I had never heard of it. I really like it even though I was only on it for the diet. My husband started using it also after a while also. We have been using it as a sugar substitute ever since then.
I was sent NuStevia White Stevia Packets, NuStevia White Stevia Powder, Pure Liquid Alcohol Free Stevia, Pure Liquid Vanilla, NuStevia NoCarbs Blend, Pure Liquid Peppermint NuStevia plus some other Stevia products to review.
Before I had just had it as a liquid with no flavor so it was fun to try it in different forms and flavors.
The trick is to get used to how to use it. Usually 1/4 teaspoon or a few drops of Stevia equals to 1 cup of sugar. Because it is very sweet you use less than you think you need, then we add more if needed. We did need to experiment with the ones we hadn’t used before first. If you use too much it can become bitter.
I have been using the Pure Liquid Alcohol Free Stevia in homemade lemonade and iced tea and the NuStevia White Stevia Packets in my coffee in the morning. We have also put it in oatmeal, smoothies, cereal, and used it in baking.
The best thing I’ve noticed about this brand is it doesn’t have much of an after taste that I’ve had with other brands.
All of the products last a long time also because you aren’t using a lot each time.
You can purchase the stevia from their website or from amazon.
