Product: Sweet Treat Monthly Box
I got to review Orange Glad for the first time about eight months ago, you can read the first review here. I was contacted to do another three-month review and agreed since I love sweets.
Orange Glad discovers great sweet shops around the nation and delivers them right to your door. The treats come in a medium-sized box, wrapped in tissue paper. They give you a card with information about what sweets you and getting and where they are from.
The best thing about this box is you get to try things you may never get to try otherwise. Then if you love something you can order more from their website or find out where to order them.
This month the box contained another box inside with all the goodies. It kept the treats safer then just loose in the other box in past months. Each box includes a “Sweet Box Menu” card with details about each treat included.
My June box contained:
- The Sconehenge Baking Co. Luscious Lemon Bar
- Cheryl’s Buttercream Cookie
- The Cravory Salted Caramel Cookie
- Lily’s Bakery Shop Hamantashen
- Rip Van Wafels
The lemon bar was the first I tried because I LOVE lemon bars. It was lovely and buttery. It was pretty big so it took me a while to get through it.
My second favorite was the salted caramel cookie. The difference in taste between the salt and caramel off-set each other perfectly. I REALLY wanted more of these!
My husband had the Hamantashen cookies all to himself. He said they were so good he couldn’t stop eating them.
We each had a bite of the buttercream cookie which was sorta falling apart before and while we ate it but it was really good.
The only item I wasn’t crazy about was the wafel. It didn’t really taste like anything.
The other months we tried were good but this box was OMG good! That is the only thing that comes to mind to describe this box. I will be reviewing the next month also so stay tuned!
