I was so excited when I got an email to review the new Nancy Drew PC game ‘Labyrinth of Lies’ by Her Interactive. I am a huge PC gamer and I have been playing the Nancy Drew games since I was 16. Including this one there have been 31 or=f this series made. I’ve played every single one and enjoy every minute of them.
The reason I love them so much is that I am a huge fan of adventure games. These are, in my opinion, the perfect adventure and mystery games. Each one has a different story line with you always playing Nancy Drew.
The Labyrinth of Lies takes place in a museum where the curator hires you to assist with the most anticipated event of the year, but artifacts from the exhibit are mysteriously disappearing. There are fun and interesting puzzles to complete. Characters to talk to and figure out their story.
I love that I learn a little with every game as well. In this one you get to experience the World of Ancient Greece while Solving challenging puzzles based on actual Greek myths and artwork.
The scenes, graphics and music were beautiful. There were only a few places to go at first but then you open up a whole new set under the stage.
The puzzles were challenging, not overly difficult (like in some of the other games) and fun.
It took me about 5 days to finish, playing a few hours at a time. It was a lot of fun and as usual I can’t wait for the next one.
