Product: Gourmet homestyle cookie dough
If you can’t bake (like me) or don’t always have the time to make a batch of cookies from scratch than Jen & Joe’s Cookie Dough is perfect. They are so easy to make and look like you spent hours on them.
I’ve had ready-made cookie dough before that made I guess what you would call cookies.. With those you knew what you were getting, some flat, sugary thing.
The first thing I noticed was how they looked right out of the box. Each cookie was shaped like you had just hand formed the dough. They were placed in a box with cardboard, 12 cookies each, so none could get smashed before hand. The cookies vary in baking times but not by that much, around 12 minutes for each batch. They baked up perfectly each time.
I got to try all the flavors, which were:
- Chocolate Chunk
- Oatmeal Toffee
- Lemon Drop
- Chocolate Spice
- White Chocolate Wasabi
Snickerdoodles have always been one of my favorite cookies so I tried those and the Oatmeal Toffee first. The Snickerdoodles didn’t disappoint and the Oatmeal Toffee was AMAZING. These are still my favorite, they are sweet and a little salty and gooey deliciousness. My husbands favorite were the Lemon Drop, they tasted a lot like lemon bars. The only ones we weren’t crazy about were the White Chocolate Wasabi. The flavors didn’t seem to work together.
One of my favorite things is that you can very easily just take out how many cookies you want to make and save the rest for later. I usually made them in batches of six.
You can buy them online in boxes of 12 or find a location near you that sells them.
