When we first bought our house, four years ago, we did a low-budget surface remodel to our bathroom. We only have one bathroom in our house so we have to get the most out of it. Because of this I have also had to make it as efficient as possible. We put in a space-saving sink, new bathroom faucets, new vanity mirror, painted, new lighting, and added some shelving. It didn’t cost us a lot (around $500) and it made a huge difference.
My parents desperately need to update their quest bathroom and I am helping them finish it. They don’t have the money to spare to completely remodel it so they are also doing a surface makeover. My mother has already redone the tub and the tile herself with tub and tile paint. Next they are taking out the existing sink and vanity. They are getting a simple pedestal sink so they will have to buy the faucet on its own.
Just something as simple us updating a faucet can make such a huge difference. We just upgraded our kitchen on as well and I love it. Anyway, my parents want to go with chrome, which is very popular right now. They have been looking around everywhere and they love this ‘Opulence’ one from Danze. My mother loves the classic look and this one fits in perfectly.
Let’s come clean about bathrooms. They were invented because people get dirty. Danze thinks a clean look should be part of the picture too. So they start with durable materials and shape them into enduring designs. Then they add innovations, like WaterSense, which saves h2o without sacrificing pressure or performance.plus all of there valves work with all our faucet trims, which cleans up a lot of the guess-work when it comes to installation.
Are you planning on remodeling or upgrading any part of your home or did you already? What upgrades are most important to you?
