Product: Thin on-ear sleep headphones
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
I am always watching TV in bed. We have a TV in the bedroom but I am usually using my laptop or tablet to watch something. Regular headphones are fine if I am sitting up straight but if I want to lay on my side they get uncomfortable or don’t stay on. That is where Bedphones come in.
Their headphones lay flat on your ears so you can lay down with them on comfortably. They fit around your ear and the wire is moldable which provides a custom fit for anyone wearing them. They fit my husband and I perfectly. The ear pads are larger than normal which I think is what makes them so comfy to wear.
They worked with every device I tried them with, my phone, laptop, and tablet. They came with
- satin eye mask which was a nice touch
- travel case which was a hard shell so nothing can hurt your headphones when they are in there
- two pairs of replacement foams
They were created by Eric Dubs, a location-independent product developer. With a background in mechanical engineering, a passion for music and a desire for a great night’s sleep, Eric set out to solve an issue plaguing music-lovers and poor sleepers everywhere: no headphones were comfortable enough to wear to bed.
Nearly one-hundred hand-made prototypes were created to get the sound quality, thickness and adjustability as perfect as possible. The recently-released Bedphones took over a year of research and development to bring to fruition.
They are available in either black or white with an optional inline microphone with remote to take calls on the go and control your music without touching your phone.
