Product: Mineral Mud Shampoo
I have been waiting a while to write this review to give this shampoo time to do its thing. Unfortunately, the ‘thing’ never happened for me.
Adovia’s Dead Sea Mud Shampoo is made with natural ingredients such as Dead Sea Mud, Chamomile & Olive Oil. Dead Sea Mud has been known for centuries for its healing properties and people travel from all over the world to come and experience it’s effects at the Dead Sea. Dead Sea Mud has the highest concentration of minerals found in mun anywhere in the world. These minerals are all essential for proper skin function and help to regulate moisture retention as well as hydration.
The shampoo looks little strange because it’s black although the consistency is the same as normal shampoos I have tried. I am not too crazy about the smell. It has a very strong smell to it. It reminds me more of a Men’s shampoo in that area.
I don’t have a huge problem with dandruff although my scalp can get itchy sometimes. I felt like this was making my scalp itch more after using it.
It did help get my hair clean easily and my hair feels a touch softer then it before. The first few times using it my hair felt weighed down after drying, which is the opposite of what it is supposed to do. To fix this I stopped using conditioner except for the very ends of my hair. This helped a lot.
It is $23 for a bottle which is a little pricey for me, especially since I didn’t see many results. The shampoo may work better for people with Psoriasis.
You can purchase it on Amazon.
